You are very inspiring, and create an atmosphere of excitement, joy, self- confidence, and fun. I am so grateful for all of the knowledge I gained, but also of the camaraderie you inspire and the new friends I have gained. Thank you so much, Audrey. I believe you can teach anyone, any age, who can hold a pencil can learn how to tangle. -  Jill Elliott

“I loved all the Zentangle classes I took at the BAC taught by Audrey Markowitz!  What I loved most is that you can not make a mistake!  I never know I could be so creative.  Audrey made the class interesting and fun.  She was very encouraging and a delightful teacher.  I looked forward to seeing her as much as I looked forward to the class.  I highly recommend taking all the Zentangle classes offered and I hope there will be more advanced ones to come.  I will take them all!!”

“Taking the Zentangle classes from Audrey has been so much fun.  Not only was I able to learn a new art form that is extremely rewarding, but I am now able to apply it to some of my other artistic endeavors.  Kudos to Audrey for her enthusiasm, patience and excellent instruction in these enjoyable, relaxing and inspiring classes.  She is a joy!” -

Audrey is an amazing teacher, her love and enthusiasm for teaching is apparent from the moment you meet her. Full of life and encouragement! I enjoyed the classes so much I may repeat some of them. Yoga for the brain, I love it! “ - Leslie Timmerman

“Zentangling is a wonderful way to create beautiful art in a relaxing setting, and Audrey's classes are the ideal place to Zentangle. My daughter (age 11) and I have taken most of Audrey's classes and have loved her positive energy, clear and well-prepared lessons, and wealth of artistic knowledge. I can't recommend these classes highly enough. “

“I like Zentangle because it puts you in a focused relaxed zone.  All of Audrey's classes were great but my favorite was this ZIA class on flower cards. Audrey brings to class her knowledge and expertise on Zentangle and is a fabulous teacher with such good energy and enthusiasm.”  -

“As a novice artist in acrylic paints, Zentangle helped me become unstuck. Audrey is so much fun, and Zentangle opened up the creative juices again.”

“Audrey’s Zentangle classes are a suspension of time into relaxation, joy, fun, and creativity .... I leave each class with a beautiful creation and a sense of amazement that I actually made it.  As students we ask, “Please, Audrey, offer more classes!”  -S.M.

“I was intrigued by Zentangle from the first moment I saw the Zentangled sneakers displayed at the Brewery Arts Center. (Now I have created a pair of my very own!) I subsequently took every class offered, and find Zentangle to be an easy way to alleviate stress and to relax. Audrey is a dynamic, positive instructor who has the ability to inspire her students to allow the creative process to bloom in each one of us. Her "joi de vivre" is catching! I strongly encourage anyone, regardless of artistic talent, to do yourself a favor -- take these classes.”  Georgia Kinkella

“Where to begin?  I’ve had the most wonderful experience taking Audrey’s Zentangle classes.  Not only is she a great teacher but she also taught us something about ourselves.  We learned to laugh, relax, go into our happy place and BREATHE.  I feel that this was one of the most important part of Audrey’s classes. Learning this new art is amazing and so much fun (I especially loved the “Fabric” class).  I have created so many personal gifts for my friends and family and they love them.  I also loved the “Grow Your Own Tangle Garden” class, it just topped off everything I could imagine.  I can hardly pick a couple of classes because all of them were absolutely “SO MUCH FUN”  Audrey, you are so talented, encouraging, strong & SOOOO FUNNY!!!!  You’re the BEST!”
