Two New Tangles!

ORLIQUE is one one of my favorite tangles!  Many of you have asked how to do it and so here it is:

Orlique makes a beautiful tangle on it's own within a Zentangle, as well as a stunning and complementary background for other tangles:

In this Zentangle, I've use "Orlique" as a background for the tangle "Rain."

And here  is "Orlique" as both a tangle within a Zentangle AND a
 background for the tangle "Squid."

And now, drum roll please ... the brand new, 

hot off the press, 

 (not even available to the public yet)

new tangle (by Maria Thomas) 
 called BUNZO.

It's really a dynamic tangle because it is 50/50 black and white.  It is also great to shade and will "grow" to fit any string!   Here's a sample of what I did with it (using the "Orlique" tangle, too!):
