News and "Stuff!"

NEW Class for Zentangle "Graduates"
Piloted this Summer!

You asked for it ... and you got it!  NEW tangles and the basics of rubber stamping!  What a great combination.  We called the class:
"Sassy Stained Glass Stamp Meets Zentangle:  WOW!"
In this class we put our Zentangle® skills together with SIX NEW TANGLES (yup, 6!) to create an awesome ZIA greeting card!  We "splashed" some amazing Dylusion Color Spray Paints around, too.  In addition, we learned the basics of rubber stamping.  And, at the end of class everyone got to take home the components for 2 greeting cards and a fabulous Stained Glass cling mount stamp that will give you endless tangling possibilities,  I had to find the "perfect" rubber stamp for this class, of course.  I wanted one, that if it was your first and only stamp, you would be able to use it over and over and over again and have the finished product look awesome and different each time!

Well, I found it!  Take a look:

And when it's tangled ... ahhhhh!   Kelly Fluitt went home and created this beautiful piece of art using her new stamp and Tim Holtz's Distress Stain Inks.

And Susan Hatchett left the class and completed these two lovely pieces of art:

ALL you ladies were wonderful! Though you used the same stamp and learned the same tangles, you put them together in your own unique and special way to create your own remarkable and extraordinary art!  KUDOS to each of you!

  2. Audrey, so happy for you. I look forward to checking in often to see what is new.
Every time I do a tangle I think of you and your fun classes. I'm hoping that the idea of a half day class or pot-luck class is still running around your head. I would be happy to talk to you about hosting a get-together. Susan Vann
